A big variety of atachable objectives has been developed to modify digital photo cameras in ways to make magnification levels in microscopic space possible.
The optical components consist of multiple lenses to correct the spherical and chromatic aberration of the particular device. These components can be attached by magnetic mount to the objectives, and can be removed anytime leaving the initial properties of the camera intact.
With these components a high variety of magnification levels can be realised using zooming and autofocus functionality of the cameras.
This method of microscopy is very flexible. The small size enables the use of the camera at many different places for inspection purposes of microscopic structures. Images can be saved without the need of a Notebook or PC.
The optical components were developed for all common digital cameras.
Focal distance and working distance can be altered to custom demands.
